The Three Systems We Handle, Tuned for This Community
We approach each house by age and construction type. A 1970s frame farmhouse off Fowler Avenue needs different answers than a 2010s block home in a newer subdivision:
- Roofing: architectural shingle and metal roofs with sealed decks and self-adhered underlayment; metal is especially popular on lakefront and acreage homes for its wind rating and long service life.
- Siding: fiber cement and insulated vinyl that stand up to humidity, mower rash, and the mildew that thrives in oak shade.
- Windows: impact-rated, low-E replacements that tame summer heat gain and hold through the storm season without plywood.
- Soffit, fascia, and gutters: the unglamorous parts that decide whether attics stay dry when rain blows uphill.
On acreage properties we are also frequently asked to match the house work on outbuildings, detached garages, and barns, and we quote those in the same visit so the whole property reads as one.
Rooted Enough to Be Accountable
Alpine Exteriors has been at this for 25 years, long enough to have reroofed homes we first sided, and to have watched which materials actually survive Florida rather than which ones market well. That track record now spans more than 2,000 completed projects across our service areas.
What Working With Us Looks Like
Every project starts with a free on-site estimate. Out here that matters more than in town: satellite quotes and drive-by bids miss the things that define a rural job, like long material staging distances, well and septic locations, animal fencing, and shade patterns off the hammocks. We walk it in person, measure it in person, and price it in person.
Then we build, and we stand behind it with a 25-year workmanship warranty on the labor and detailing. Manufacturers cover their products; we cover everything our hands touched. If a flashing, a seam, or a fastener line we installed ever lets weather in, the repair is our responsibility, not yours.
If your Thonotosassa home is showing curled shingles, tired siding, or fogged glass, get us out for a look before the next storm season does the deciding for you.
