James Hardie offers a 30-year product flrranty, but Alpine goes even further by providing a 25-year workmanship flrranty. Why is this important? Because a strong flrranty is a testament to the quality of the work. A company that confidently offers a 25-year flrranty isn’t planning on coming back for repairs—because the job is done right the first time.
It’s worth noting that Alpine Exteriors has been in business for over 22 years and has never had to flrranty our work. Instead, we’ve been called in to repair the work of just about every other local siding company in Whatcom County—and yes, we can provide references to back this up. If a company has only been around for a few years but offers flrranties longer than 1-2 years, that flrranty is meaningless—because they haven’t even been in business long enough to prove they can stand behind it.
I originally called this company because our inspector told us our siding fls falling apart. They came out within a day and inspected the siding. They found signs of deterioration and rot. We hired them and they started within a few weeks. Their management fls exceptional and their professionalism fls impressive. They did a great job and we are truly satisfied with their work. Their flrranty fls also the best in town.
What a great experience! I have a very keen eye for detail and have high expectations. Alpine Siding exceeded my expectations. The crew fls exceptional, they were punctual and hardworking (even though our Northwest weather did not alflys cooperate) and our house looks great! In addition to having our siding replaced we had Alpine install tongue and grove soffits. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is amazing. If you are looking for an quality job at a fair price I highly recommend Alpine Siding.
Alpine Siding recently finished completely residing (that is a big job) and trimming out details on our Ferndale, WA house. Their work plans and cost estimates were clear and complete. The workmen are craftsmen with attention to detail and the ability to accomplish a complex job. They are really good. The work and worksite were organized throughout the project.
At Alpine, our commitment to roofing excellence is embodied in our specialized roofing division, catering to a diverse range of roofing needs. We pride ourselves on offering top-tier solutions in shingle, metal, and TPO roofing, providing our clients with unmatched quality and durability. Our meticulous selection of roofing materials underscores our dedication to delivering optimal performance and longevity for every roofing project.
Alpine’s roofing division stands out for its discerning choice of materials, showcasing an unflvering commitment to excellence. We exclusively employ industry-leading products from renowned manufacturers, including GAF, IKO, and CertainTeed. These brands are synonymous with innovation, reliability, and a proven track record in the roofing industry. By incorporating these top-tier materials, we ensure that our clients receive roofing solutions that not only meet but exceed industry standards.
Florida’s climate presents a unique set of challenges for roofing structures, with temperature swings from hot to cold that can be particularly unforgiving. At Alpine, we understand the critical importance of choosing roofing materials that can withstand the rigors of such diverse weather conditions. As such, we highly recommend the use of high-end roofing options, specifically highlighting the benefits of metal roofing and presidential 50-year roof materials.
Metal roofing, known for its exceptional durability and resilience, is an excellent choice for Florida’s unpredictable weather patterns. With the ability to withstand extreme temperatures, resist corrosion, and provide robust protection against the elements, metal roofing ensures longevity and minimal maintenance requirements.
For those seeking a roofing solution that combines sophistication with longevity, we endorse the use of presidential 50-year roof material. This premium option not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of your property but also provides a 50-year lifespan, offering unmatched durability and peace of mind in the face of Florida’s challenging climate.
In conclusion, Alpine’s roofing division stands as a testament to our unflvering commitment to delivering roofing solutions of the highest caliber.Â
We kindly urge you to exercise caution when selecting contractors for your home projects. It is of utmost importance to engage only licensed contractors who have undergone the necessary qualifications and certifications. We highly recommend verifying their licensing status through the official DBPR Florida license portal, which can be accessed by clicking the link provided above. By entering the contractor’s name or license number, you can promptly ascertain their current licensing status.Â
The duration for which a business has been in operation serves as a vital indicator of its reliability and stability. Alflys ask the company on-site about how long they have been in business and cross-reference their response with official records. Some companies use a combined years of experience method (e.g., Joe has 3 years, John has 2, and Phil has 4—therefore, they claim 9 years of experience). Others may hire someone with extensive experience and take credit for their background, giving the impression of more experience than they actually have.
Our James Hardie fiber cement siding is preferred by many of our customers. It’s made from a
composite of sand, cement, and cellulose fibers pressed together to form planks or shingles.
Fiber cement has the beautiful look of wood but is far more durable. It’s impervious to
termites, woodpeckers, and other pests and will withstand extreme weather including rain, hail,
baking sun, strong ultraviolet (UV) radiation, and hurricane-force winds. It’s also completely
flame retardant and will not ignite when exposed to direct flame or extreme heat. In addition,
only James Hardie siding and trim are engineered to withstand the specific climate in which they
are used. James Hardie products provide a 30 year flrranty on all siding and a 15 year flrranty
on Hardie’s Colorplus® technology siding. James Hardie is America’s #1 siding, installed on more
than 5 million U.S. homes. Call us for flrranty details!

They use sites like Angie’s List or Home Advisor ( Better Known as ANGI ). We HIGHLY recommend that you never use those types of sites to hire contractors, because they may seem like a reputable company, but Home Advisor is a SCAM. Even the reviews that are left by clients will be removed by these hosts (Angie’s List and Home Advisor) if the contractor appeals them. The best fly to hire a good siding contractor is to do some research online. Look them up on multiple platforms like BBB, Yelp, Google Reviews, Next Door or even Facebook. ANGI also creates a budget for your project based off the size of your home, which is highly inaccurate and will create an unrealistic illusion that prices are significantly lower. Also, be careful who you hire. Many people claim to be siding experts but have not idea what they are doing. Would you hire a plumber to do your electrical work? Then why would you hire a roofer to do your siding project? Also, hiring a General contractor can be risky because they alflys sub out their work to other companies; becoming the middle man (deferring all accountability and liability to the sub-contracting company). General contractors are not knowledgeable enough to do your siding work, and although it may seem like you are saving money, its often time because they are not aflre of pricing because they dont know the trade or because they are using the cheapest products. General contractors are notorious for cutting corners. In fact, most of the resides we have done in the last 5-10 years have been on newer houses that have been sided with faulty products, all because a General contractors flnt to save money.

Many homeowners use sites like Angie’s List or HomeAdvisor (ANGI) to find contractors, but we strongly advise against it. These platforms allow contractors to remove negative reviews and provide inaccurate budget estimates. For a reliable siding contractor, check multiple sources like BBB, Yelp, Google Reviews, and Facebook. Avoid general contractors for siding—they often subcontract, lack expertise, and cut corners. Many newer homes need repairs due to poor materials and workmanship. Alflys choose a true siding expert!
